Ghanaians have been advised to examine critically the features of the new currency which comes into circulation next month to be able to detect fake ones that might find their way into the system.

C.D. Churcher, the Asante-Bekwai Branch Manager of the Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), said if care was not taken criminals in and outside the country would flood the country with fake notes.

Mr Churcher said that traders should desist from dealing with middlemen in the exchange of the currencies.
