The Finance and Economic Planning Minister, Mr Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu will on Tuesday launch this year’s tax education campaign of the Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) in Takoradi in the Western region.

A statement issued by CEPS in Accra said during the campaign, there would be seminars in selected towns and this would focus on the new CEPS Transit Module, the Vehicle Importation and Export regime and Commercial Fraud.

The statement said the seminars would be held at Elubo in the Western region, Aflao and Ho in the Volta region, Tamale in the Northern region and Bolgatanga in the Upper East region.

It said the campaign is expected to create an enabling environment for CEPS to forge partnerships with the business community for a mutually beneficial relationship.

The statement called on all stakeholders to endeavour to participate in the tax education seminars.
