The Vice-Chancellor of University of Education, Winneba, Professor Jophus Anamuah-Mensah, has appealed to financial institutions and organisations to assist in the development of education in the country.

He said such assistance would develop and improve infrastructure to admit more students to educational institutions to train the required manpower needs of the country.

Prof. Anamuah-Mensah made the appeal when receiving a cheque for ˘100 million from the Management of State Insurance Corporation (SIC) at Winneba.
