Officer advises teacher trainees to be steadfast

Mr Stephen Debrah-Gyasi, Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD) Officer of the Atwima Nwabiagya District Education Directorate, has advised teacher interns not to succumb to pressures that they may encounter in the school communities.

Mr Debrah-Gyasi was addressing final year students of Saint Louis Training College, Kumasi, at Toase in the Atwima Nwabiagya District on Thursday.

The students are on a year's practical outreach training programme in the District. It was aimed at exposing them to the practical environment and challenges existing in the communities.

Mr Debrah-Gyasi said the internship would afford them the opportunity to adapt easily when they are posted to similar school communities after graduation.

The HRMD Officer advised the teacher trainees to maintain high moral standards and discipline to enable them win the communities' respect, trust and confidence.
