Two pupils fall from second floor

Two final year pupils of the Junior High Schools operated by the VRA in Akosombo have fallen from the second floor of their Classroom block.

An eye witness, Issah Hussein told Joy News that, the incident happened this morning around 8:30am. He said teachers at the school were in a meeting and the pupils took advantage of their absence from the classrooms to play around.

He said, one of the students run to hug his friend who was standing by the rails and the two came tumbling to the ground. Hussein said the two pupils who were unconscious were put in a taxi and rushed to the VRA Hospital where they have been put in intensive care.

The two boys have been identified only as Saddam and Matthias.
