Mentor 3 is catching up gradually with the fans and viewers alike although some say it is no where near Mentor 1 and 2.

Also shedding of tears after the eviction of a contestant is nothing new in mentor and last Sunday's show was no exception.

K-Gee's eviction was a big blow to many but still he has the chance of being voted back again into the mentor house.

His "pain killer" and motivator Dela and Ras Lisa together with his fans couldn't hold their tears but allow it flow freely.

K-Gee after performing Wutah's "Adonko" and sweeping the audience off their feet and receiving an applaud from Rex Omar, the guest judge could still not make it to the next stage of the competition.

Last Sunday was contemporary Ghanaian rhythms and the man for the night was Fyaa, the Liberian gentleman in the competition and he performed Lucky Mensah's "Old School" song.

Nadjat from the Western Region appeared as sweet 16 Mzbel and did her "Yopoo" track; she took the song and made it her own but seemed to pay more attention to her sexy dancing than the singing according to the good old Dominic Ansah Asare.

The "judge of doom", Mark as he was described by the presenter Anita for the first time in the history of mentor saw a contestant who performed a song produced by him and handled it perfectly. Erico performed George Jarrah "Ashikele" and he did not, only win the heart of Mark but rather all and sundry.

Paul last Sunday chose "ABC of love" from Oheneba Kissi and not only did he do well with the performance but also he really looked like Oheneba.

Paa, Lisa and Dela were equally good for the night. TV3 last Sunday disappointed its viewers when the power went off at studio B when Paa from the Eastern Region was performing and the heat inside studio B was very bad.

The presenter was up stage fanning herself and the audiences were moving outside for fresh air during the show.

The show saw a lot of dignitaries in the music arena passing through to witness and also to show their love for mentor. In all the performance for the night was mega and the self evicted Bright was there to support his friends.

The eviction process took a different style when Anita invited all eight upstage and allowed them back again, everybody thought it was eviction free when she finally called K-Gee, the evictee back on stage again this time alone.

Fyaa together with Dela and Ras Lisa couldn't join the rest on stage as they broke down backstage and shed tears.

The eviction party for K-Gee is at the Oceans Nite Club at North Kaneshie.
