Khojo Aquai to be buried on Saturday

The family and friends of the late Khojo Aquai, one of Ghana's legendary western high-life musicians on Tuesday announced that he would be buried on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at the Osu cemetery after a funeral service at the National Theatre, where he would be laid in state from 0900 hours.

A statement they issued in Accra said the public was also invited to a thanksgiving service on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the St. Luke Anglican Church in Kwashieman, after which there would be family gathering at Mr. Aquai's residence in Dansoman.

Mr. Aquai's was revered for his phenomenal contribution to the development of music and entertainment industries in Ghana.
