Kofi Nti’s fans have been expecting his new album since last year but it turned out that 4reez Westside was not ready for the release.

Information gathered by showghana.com grapevine indicated that Kofi Nti's album was to be released immediately after Kofi B released his album titled 'The return of Kofi B', but for strange reasons the album is yet to see the light of day.

According to sources, Kofi Nti's latest album was ready for release before Ofori Amponsah's 'Odwo', but the great album was shelved for another day. The question many music fans are asking is whether 4reez Westside Entertainment, headed by Ofori Amponsah would ever release Kofi Nti's album, whose title is still unknown.

Kofi Nti's maiden album was released in 2005. For three years the talented young music star has been marking time, awaiting his return to the music scene with his latest album.

Sources say the album, even though ready, has not been able to attract the attention of business people who would be willing to produce the album and distribute it.

"Efforts have been made to push the album but no concrete deal has been reached yet with the interested party," a source said.

The 'Rakia man' and his fans might have to wait for God's appointed time for the release of the much-awaited album.

There is no doubt that albums released by 4reez Westside Entertainment almost always become instant hits; but the delay of Kofi Nti's new album is fuelling the perception that all is indeed not well in the 4reez camp. Meanwhile, Ofori Amponsah is still topping charts across the country.
