Bernard Amankwah, the sensational and talented gospel musician who recently launched his debut album, Presence was among the array of musicians who climbed the stage Tuesday evening, Febraury 26, 2008, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Open Air Concert.

The concert was part of activities including teaching programmes that have been lined up to celebrate the 24th Anniversary of the ICGC.

Bernard Amankwah who opened the show reached out to the gathering and mesmerised them with two tracks from his album. Especially, the track ‘Kick the devil’ got the crowd onto their feet.

Supported by good backers and dancers, Bernard gave a good show, a good account of himself and touched the hearts of the crowd.

Other musicians on the bill were good old but ever rocking Okasa Lamptey, always refreshing Danny Nartey, hot to handle Daughters of Glorious Jesus, effervescent Pastor Josh Laryea, and backing the musicians was the remarkably quality music conscious Zamah Band of the ICGC.

The church gave out free food and drinks to all who came and a spectacular fire works closed the event.

The MCs for the Concert were Rev. Kofi Okyere and Bola Ray.
