Operatives of the Narcotics Control Board are reported to have arrested Mr. Isaac Abaidoo, popularly known as Goodies on suspicion of drug dealing.

Goodies, one of Ghana's best established music producers, who has worked with Hip-Life groups like VIP and Tic Tac, was arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle narcotics out of the country.

NCB sources told Joy News he arrested on Wednesday night at the Kotoka International Airport as he went through departure formalities to board a plane to London.

His colleague music producer, Mark Okraku Mantey, expressed shock at the news and said Goodies is not ‘somebody who is too hungry for money’ to venture into drugs and coming after Daasebre Gyamena’s brush with the law, as well as perceptions that guys in the music industry are not hardworking but out to make easy money, it won’t be easy for the image of the industry.
