International music icons Wyclef Jean, Eve and Mario staged a Friday night walk into the studios of Joy Fm to present their itinerary for their show slated for Saturday.

Show host Bola Ray fielded questions spanning career and family to hobbies and favourite pastimes.

The three Grammy Award winning stars promised to rock the capital on Saturday with some of their hit songs in a musical extravaganza to introduce to Ghanaians the “026” code from Zain, a major African telecoms service provider set to roll out its services in the country.

The event dubbed “The Zain 026 Experience,” will also feature other top music stars such Obrafuor, Kwaw Kese, and Tinny, and 2Face Idibia of Nigeria.

The artists will storm the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra where they would subject an expected 30,000 audience to a thrilling and electrifying experience.

Wyclef Jean, who is also a songwriter, a producer and an actor, said that it was a great delight to be performing in Ghana.

He said he hopes to one day record a collaboration with some local artists.

Zain Ghana marketing director Charles Mayerm said the company “is hitting the country in a big way through the assembling of one of the best international network technologies to give Ghanaians the best.”

He said the event is to introduce Ghanaians to the true Zain experience which comes with excellent service delivery and real value for money for the subscriber.
