Former Fugees star Wyclef Jean has lost possession of his Florida home - the property will be sold at auction after entering foreclosure.
Jean bought the Miami Beach mansion in 2004, taking out a £1.3 million mortgage through a corporation he owns with several friends.

However, the property was left unfinished following a string of legal problems with the construction. Jean also garnered thousands of dollars in fines from Miami Beach city officials after the £600,000 renovation project floundered.

Jean's corporation is now said to owe the bank more than £1.6 million. Court records also claim the star has failed to pay the employees who worked on the building, according to AllHipHop.com.

The house has now been placed in foreclosure and will be sold by Miami-Dade county officials on 12 December.
