Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed that his friend, who disappeared while jet skiing three years ago, is dead.

According to Asamoah Gyan, who went holidaying with the hiplife artiste in Ada, where he disappeared, he consulted two powerful fetish priests who confirmed that Castro is no more alive.

Rescue operations started on Sunday, July 6, 2014 for Castro, born Theophilus Tagoe, and his female companion, Janet Bandu, who went missing while jet skiing in the waters of Ada.

Castro and Asamoah Gyan were at the Peace Holiday Resort, a beach resort in Ada, together with some friends for recreation when he went missing.

Speaking in an interview with Delay on the Dela Show, the Black Stars Captain said he came to the conclusion that his friend is dead after consulting the fetish priests.

“For me, I was there, from what the person said and from what I have observed, I can strongly say that Under is no more because I was there… [but] the body has not been found” and he is not sure that the body will be found.

Asked when Castro’s funeral will be held, Asamoah Gyan said final funeral rights for the ‘Seihor’ hit sit singer can’t be performed because of the constitutional requirement that he can only be declared dead if his body is not found after seven years.
