Mr Salifu Abdul-Majeeb, HIV/AIDS Programme Coordinator of the People's Dialogue on Human Settlement (PD) has said the neglect of people with AIDS was a challenge to all to tackle.

He said people should not stigmatise HIV/AIDS carriers, saying isolation was likely to emotionally demoralize them and send them to an early death.

Mr Abdul-Majeeb was addressing a workshop on HIV/AIDS for selected groups drawn from the Affram Plains and Jasikan districts at Kwamikrom in the Volta region.

He said sex was not the only means of transmission that there are other means one could be infected.
