Clients of the Atwima-Nwabiagya National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in Ashanti have been cautioned to be wary of the nefarious activities of some agents of the scheme who have been found to have misconducted themselves in the discharge of their duties.

A statement issued at Nkawie at the weekend and signed by Mr James Agyarko, the Scheme Manager, cautioned clients especially residents in Abuakwa that one Mr Kwame Owusu Afriyie ceases to be an agent of the scheme with immediate effect.

It said management of the scheme had set in motion a machinery to monitor the activities of its agents to bring sanity into the operations of the scheme in the district and called for the co-operation of all.
