Sheikh Usman Nuhu Sharubutu, National Chief Imam, on Wednesday called on all regional, district and local Imams to dedicate their Jumma prayers on Friday, March 2 to the Ghana@50 celebrations.

A release signed by Alhaji Awiasu Bio, Public Relations Officer, said the Chief Imam also directed all Imams to pray for peaceful celebrations and the safe arrival and departure of the large number of dignitaries expected in the country.

The Chief Imam extended his heartfelt thanks to God, the government and Ghanaians for their contributions towards the independence and peaceful development of Ghana.

He urged all Ghanaian Muslims to take part in the celebration in order to give it a national character.
