Speaking at the association's general meeting at Suhum the Chairman of the Association, Emmanuel K. Martey, said the efforts of the police was highly commendable and that without police action Suhum could have been destroyed.

Mr Martey, a catechist in-charge of Suhum Bungalow Presbyterian Church, appealed to members of the association to take advantage of the government's free education policy and send their children to school especially, the girls.
