The National Chairman of the Association of Methodist Men's Fellowships, Mr Charles Mensah, has called on churches to speak against the socio-economic and political injustices to ensure liberty and freedom.

He told the clergy and the laity in the churches "we should warn against impending socio-economic, political and problems like bribery and corruption and idleness which impede development.”

Mr Mensah was speaking during the celebration of Men's Day at the Wesley Cathedral Methodist Church at Adum in Kumasi.

He said events of the world today, including Ghana, called for a concerted effort to arrest the moral decadence engulfing all including the Christian community.

He condemned the indecent dressing by women, which he described as "Dressed to kill" as well as the sexual immorality by men leading to broken homes.

"As men in the Lord's Vineyard there was the need to embrace the vision of the church and its role to help increase membership by evangelizing in the power of the Holy Spirit".

"We should try to effect changes in our homes, communities, and work places as we celebrate the day, so that together we can reach the un-reached and win souls for Christ," he added.
