The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has said it has arrested some suspected armed robbers operating in and around the region.

The police also said they have retrieved more than 70 percent of the cars that have been reportedly snatched from car owners.

An identification parade was held on Thursday morning for the suspects.

Briefing journalists in Accra, the Regional Commander, DCOP Douglas Akrofi-Asiedu cautioned the public to be vigilant and security conscious as they perform their daily duties.
