expert advice from veterinary officers any time they encountered difficulties or found unusual behaviours in the animals.

Mr Fuseini called on members of NOLFA to join hands with relevant
agencies to address. The menace of some Fulani herdsmen whose activities were becoming dangerous to society.

An Assistant Commissioner of the Immigration Service in charge of
Alien Registration in the Northern Region, Mr Sumaila Seidu, also
expressed concern about the criminal activities of some of the herdsmen.

He mentioned armed robbery, rape, destruction of farmlands and
pollution of water bodies, as some of the practice of those herdsmen that sometimes resulted in conflicts between them and the people.

Mr Seidu explained that it was as a result of checking on such negative activities that his outfit had begun registering and issuing the herdsmen with an Alien Registration Cards.

"I would, therefore, entreat you and those at the communities to co-
