Members of Upper West Regional House of Chiefs have donated GH¢200 for the upkeep of flood victims in the Upper East Region.

This was contained in a statement issued in Wa on Friday and signed by Kuoru Kuri-Buktie, Paramount Chief of Gwollu Traditional Area and President of the House.

It said, " This is our widow's mite to mitigate the plight of the affected victims who have lost their property. We wish to express our sympathies to the victims".

They commended the government and National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) for their assistance to the victims and called on benevolent organisations and philanthropists to assist them.
