The Men's Ministry of the Holy Ghost Revival Assemblies of God Church at South Odorkor in Accra on Sunday has cut the sod for the construction of a building for the keep fit club of the Church and installation of a generator.

The facility building estimated at about GH ¢3,000 would be used by the keep-fit club and the community as a whole and formed part of the church's social responsibility of promoting healthy lifestyle through exercises.

Mr Richard Anane, Vice President of the Men’s Ministry, said the project was expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The Reverend Gaylord Aidoo-Dadzie, Senior Pastor of the Church, who cut the sod, said while the Church promoted spirituality, there was the need to also promote sound physical condition.

He lauded the contribution of the Men's Ministry in their effort of supporting government's health agenda.

Rev. Aidoo-Dadzie said aside the keep-fit club, the church had a school, a computer learning centre and a credit union. It also organizes a health outreach programme for people within the catchment area annually.

Rev. Aidoo-Dadzie cautioned members to be faithful in their work to enable them to earn God's blessing.

“As you demonstrate true Christian character, I pray that the almighty God will make your work prosper,” he said.
