Mr Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, an NPP presidential aspirant on Tuesday made his second donation to support flood victims when he handed over 100 bags of rice to the authorities.

Mr Hackman first donated 100 pieces of rubber mats through the deputy Northern Region Minister when the disaster occurred.

He lauded the response of the government in addressing the needs of the displaced and urged officials to use every item judiciously to help the afflicted.

In a related development, STIF International Transport, which operates long distance coaches, also donated GH¢200 (two million cedis) while Radio Gold, an Accra-based independent broadcaster, gave assorted used clothing and shoes.

Nana Obiri Boahene, Minister of State at the Ministry of the Interior, who received the items, lauded the donors for responding to the call to help the less privileged.
