Renowned NGO in the sexual and reproductive health sector, Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) has paid a courtesy call on the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

PPAG is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and a leading provider of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Education and Services.

During deliberations with the First Lady, PPAG revealed a joint initiative with the Japanese government through the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICEP) to execute a project on sexual and reproductive health.

The delegation that paid the courtesy call on the First Lady was led by Kweku Brenu Chairman of IPPF.

Mr Brenu revealed that the Ghana Health Service is supporting the work of PPAG, adding further that opportunities exist for result-oriented and committed individuals with the requisite expertise in sexual and reproductive health to apply in a bid to facilitate the work of the NGO.

The visit to the First Lady on Monday, February 27, 2017, by PPAG was also to request her support towards its projects.

The First Lady lauded the work of PPAG over the years and promised to work with PPAG towards the organisation's aims and objectives.
