The Attorney General's Department has received the docket containing findings from the case in which a District Chief Executive is accused of plotting to kill his constituency Member of Parliament and to cast a spell on no less a person than President Kufuor through voodoo.

Deputy Attorney-General, Kwame Osei Prempeh, on Sunday confirmed to The Heritage that his department had received the docket, after weeks of forensic tests of papers purported to have carried the instructions of the DCE, Nana Kofi Kesse of the newly created Kwahu West District, to a juju man to carry out the operation.

The Heritage called up the deputy AG because the paper had learnt that the forensic report was ready and confirming Nana Kesse as being the author of those terrible words on the sheets of paper. Asked to confirm or deny whether Nana Kesse had been proven to be the writer, however, Mr. Osei Prempeh said, "It is too premature for me to comment." What he was unambiguous about was that the A-G had received the docket and was going to act on it.

The paper said it had confirmation that Nana Kesse authored the papers. And that the docket had been forwarded to the President Kufuor who was likely to dismiss the DCE. When the Deputy Minister declined to confirm or deny, the paper called up the DCE to ask for his comment on what it had heard.

"Well, it is the MP who reported to the CID; I have not heard from them, so I would not like to com¬ment," was his terse answer.

Nkawkaw MP Okerchire Kwabena Adusah got photocopies of some supposed written instructions imploring a juju man to kill him for the DCE because they could not see eye to eye. Some of the scripts bearing the other instructions also allegedly invoked a deity to make the President a ‘foolish’ man who would never remove him from office.

According to media reports, some of the notes that were sent to the juju man about the president read, "He must only listen to whatever explanation I give to him should anybody especially the MP Okakyire Adusah and his executives report anything to him." He included a photograph of the president with the inscription Mr. Kofi Diawuo.

Regarding the MP, the note read; "He has made up his mind that there is nothing that I do that would please him. He is therefore undermining me with the intention of disgracing me. I therefore want him dead".

It was learnt that the exhibits were examined by the head of the Criminal Investigations Department, David Asante Apeatu, and a select team from the department.
