The outgoing Minister for Information, Mr Kwamena Bartels has disclosed that another list of ministerial nominees should be expected from the presidency in a few days.

Speaking to Joy News, Mr Bartels said more new comers will be appointed to join President Kufuor’s administration as deputy ministers' whiles existing ministers are reassigned.

The presidency released a list of 11 nominees for the consideration of Parliament on Wednesday. It follows an initial list two weeks ago. However substantive replacements for Water Resources, Education, Interior, Defense and Tourism whose ministers have resigned to pursue presidential ambitions have yet to be named.

This has raised concerns that government could be bloated. But Mr. Bartels, whose status in government is yet to be clarified, disagrees.

He insisted President Kufuor should have the free hand to choose as many people as he deems necessary to run his government.
