Presidential aspirant and former Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kyeremanteng has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to neglect its foot soldiers.

Kyeremanteng was speaking to journalists at Pokrom near Aburi in the Akwapim South District of the Eastern Region.

He said the NPP stands a great chance of retaining power in 2008 if the contributions of foot soldiers are duly recognized.

He said although, the polling executives and other members do not have the mandate to choose a presidential candidate, they make useful contributions to the party.
