Mr. Kwamena Bartels, the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North and Interior Minister has said that he will go into farming after politics.

Speaking to Joy News on Tuesday, Mr. Bartels said that, he will not contest the 2008 elections, but instead he will leave politics and practice farming.

He said he developed interest in farming after his trip to Malaysia with President Kufuor.

He said he will grow fruits and vegetables to feed Ghanaians.

The Interior Minister said that he has achieved enough in his political career and it was time to give way to whoever the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will elect to take over from him.
