Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama has charged delegates to the New Patriotic Party’s conference to elect a presidential candidate not to sell their conscience to anyone who will offer them money.

He told delegates from Ho, Keta and Anlo that the NPP did not come to power under the influence of money but on a message of hope that endeared the party to the mass of Ghanaians.

Aliu Mahama therefore asked delegates to look out for a person with leadership qualities and committed to championing the cause of the party and welfare of Ghanaians.

According to Joy News correspondent, Agbeko Ben Kofie, the Vice President’s intended indoor meeting with delegates at Ho turned out to be a mini rally as party supporters and sympathizers stormed the meeting to listen to his message and to catch a glimpse of him.

In his address, the Vice President touched on key issues bordering on the economy and general welfare of Ghanaians.

He told the gathering that he is the best candidate among the aspirants in his capacity as Vice President and urged the delegates not to look beyond him.
