Accra Hearts of Oak will be crowned League Champions for the 2006/2007 season at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park on Sunday.

Hearts won the league after bagging 58 points in the season and qualify along with Ashantigold to play in the CAF Champions League.

Before the coronation however, Hearts will engage Liberty Professionals in a ceremonial encounter approved by the Ghana Football Association.

A flat rate of ¢30,000 would be charged at the gates.

Apart from a giant trophy, Hearts would also receive a yet to be disclosed sum for winning the league.

On Saturday, Hearts coach Dobrez who visited the studios of Joy FM, said he was elated to savour a league glory in Ghana, more so being the first foreign coach to achieve the feat.

He told Joy Sports he has a two year contract with the club and he intended to stay on and build a stronger team for the African campaign.

He disagreed with callers into the programme who thought Hearts did not play as real champions, explaining that the competitive nature of the league ensured that the points were keenly contested for.
