The office of the Gbese Mantse has expressed appreciation to Mr Randy Abbey, a member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for his contribution towards the Gbese Education Fund.

Mr Abbey a fortnight ago donated 1000 GHC (10 million cedis) to the Gbese Education Fund in addition to drinks and a ram to the office of the Gbese Mantse, which is headed by Nii Ayi-Bonte II, known in public life as Tommy Okine, former Chief Executive of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club.

A statement signed by Nii Bi Ayi Bonte, Executive Secretary of the Fund said "we wish to thank you most sincerely for this singular gesture which has inspired others to follow suit."

The statement added that: "Nii Ayi-Bonte wishes to assure you of his ready advice in your new endeavour as a Sports Administrator as well as in other spheres of life.

Mr Abbey once served on the Management Board of Hearts of Oak with Mr Okine.
