The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) will hold its monthly general meeting at its Club House, off the Exhibition Road, Dansoman, Accra on Saturday, October 6.

A statement from the secretariat of the Association said the meeting will commence at 11:00 am prompt and urged members to be punctual to ensure that all outstanding issues are cleared before the close of the meeting.

Among the issues to be discussed are the 32nd Onetouch SWAG Awards Night, the annual SWAG match, accreditation for Ghana 2008 and other related issues.

To be discussed also is the latest about the local and international press cards for members.

The statement called on members to come along with copies of the reviewed constitution of the Association, which were distributed at the last meeting for further discussion.

It also reminded members that forms for the AIPS cards have arrived and will be filled on the same day whilst signatures for the local ones will be taken.

The statement added that some sports writers who have applied for membership must also attend the meeting for formal introduction to the Association.
