A powerful crew of the BBC’s Sports World is in Accra to cover Friday’s draw of the Ghana 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team includes BBC Sports World presenter Russel Fuller, Business Development Manager Martin Davies, Senior Producer Ken Wilson, Presenter Chris Mitchell and Mike Geddes among others.

Apart from the draw, the team is also producing the three-hour programme that airs between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday from Accra. On Wednesday evening, the team held a pre-production meeting that saw Joy Sports’ Elloeny Amande in attendance.

Amande will be part of the BBC Sports World broadcast over the weekend.

As part of the Joy FM and BBC collaboration, the programme will be aired simultaneously on BBC and Joy FM.
