Authentic Sports Networx, a Kumasi-based sports development and consultancy firm has pieced together a mini tournament aimed at supporting flood victims in the three Northern Regions.

The mini tourney, which brings together six premiership and non-premiership clubs, will also support victims of the Asokwa gas explosion in Kumasi.

Mr Listowel Bukarson, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company said B.A. United, Tano Bofoakwa, Real Tamale United (RTU), Wa All Stars, King Faisal and Space FC are the six teams expected to participate in the tourney that commences at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday, October 28.

He told GNA Sports that "B.A. United, Tano Bofoakwa, King Faisal and Space FC will engage each other in an all play all beginning from Sunday to Wednesday, October 31 in search of a champion.

"The champion from the group will also face the victor of the Wa All Stars and RTU encounters that will be held at the Tamale Kaladan Park and Wa sports stadium respectively.

The winner of the encounter would play host to the finals on Sunday, November 11."

He said a giant trophy donated by former Minister of Communications, Prof. Mike Oquaye will be at stake.

The best player and the top scorer would also be rewarded in the competition that will feature Baba Armando as the guest player during the finals.

Mr Bukarson said all resources gathered in the competition would be donated to the victims "in our quest to exercise our social responsibility".

Two Ghana new cedis will be charged at the gates.
