Two members of Kumasi-based sports firm, Authentic Sports Networx, are expected to embark on a two-week training programme in Germany later in the year with partners, Globe Sports Management.

The pogramme is to sensitize the duo on innovations of professional sports management and other related topics.

The Chief Executive Officer of Authentic Sports Networx, Mr Listowell Yesu Bukarson, told GNA Sports that the training of his staff is expected to benefit Ghana sports immensely as they are expected to impact what they will learn on the nation’s sports.

He said the deal, signed last week in Berlin, was brokered by Mr. Samson Deen, Africa representative of Globe Sports Management, is aimed at strengthening international relations between the two sports firms.

Among areas to be covered by the agreement are consultancy services for sporting institutions across Africa, exchange programmes for stakeholders in sports, organization of training camps, seminars and courses for coaches, sports administrators and players.

“Globe Sports Management, represented by Uwe Kirscht, will centre player management programmes and clubs to seek deals for their players across Europe.”

Mr Bukarson said his outfit would soon organize a sports management workshop for sports journalists across the country as part of a campaign towards educating the sporting public on the importance of such programmes.

“Most Ghanaians do not acknowledge the potential in sports administration and this is affecting our sports development.”

He said it is in the wake of this that he intends to lead a campaign towards creating interest among the youth to take delight in sports administration.

Mr Bukarson said acclaimed sports administrators from Europe would address the seminar.
