The Upper West Management of Ghana Telecom has set up a special Task Force that would be responsible for going from one community to another to find out the concerns of their customers.

This is part of measures to improve on the performance of all their networks. A vehicle and other logistics had been released to them to enable them perform efficiently.

Mr. James Nana Egyir, Regional Manager of the company, said this at Wa at the weekend during their first Town Hall meeting.

The meeting, which attracted customers and representatives of other corporate organizations, provided an opportunity for them to point out some of the problems of Ghana Telecom.

Mr. Egyir said customers had remained loyal to them in spite of their problems and it was fair that they also went round to find out their problems to enable them improve on their performance.

He said although cable theft in the region was minimal, measures had been put in place to ensure that such thefts were curbed.
Customers complained of poor reception especially on OneTouch network and the low coverage in most of the areas in the region.
