Fifteen passengers sustained serious injuries after a Ford Transit bus experienced a tyre burst at Gomoa Onyaazde on the Kasoa-Mankessim Highway in the Central Region.
According to reports, the vehicle, which was carrying passengers from Accra to Takoradi, lost control when a tyre burst.
The bus reportedly somersaulted several times before landing in a bush.
Fire personnel from Apam, police officers from Winneba, and the Ghana Ambulance Service quickly responded to the scene.
The injured passengers were transported to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
No fatalities have been reported so far, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
