Aduana FC secured their first victory of the season by defeating Dreams FC 2-0 in a week six Ghana Premier League clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.
After a keenly contested first half, the hosts finally broke the deadlock in the second period, with Emmanuel Marfo and Abubakar Sams netting the goals.
The much-needed win halted Aduana’s disappointing streak of three draws and two losses, moving them to six points.
Meanwhile, Dreams FC's woes deepened, as they remain winless with only three points this term.
Aduana FC will hope to carry this momentum into their next fixture against Bibiani Gold Stars, while Dreams FC prepare to face Hearts of Oak.
