The 2024 Woarabeba Tweii Festival has been launched by the chiefs and people of the Woarabeba community.
The launch held on September 24, 2024, served to unveil the festival's theme, outline activities, and rally community and corporate support for this year’s celebration.
Distinguished dignitaries, traditional leaders, political figures, and community members gathered to celebrate the occasion paving the way for the fourth consecutive celebration of the festival.
The launch featured a captivating blend of traditional and modern elements including asafo and cultural performances, outdoor of this year’s program outline, and exhibition of Tweii.
The 2024 edition of the festival promises to capitalize on the gains made over the past years to serve patrons of the festival with unique culture and entertainment.
The Gyaasehen of Woarabeba, Nenyi Kow Abowie, representing the traditional authorities, announced that this year's celebration will include a special tribute to those who made significant contributions to the community's development.

To honor the sacrifices and struggles of the original settlers of Woarabeba, traditional customs and practices will be observed.
He also revealed that extensive preparations have been made to ensure that this year's festival surpasses all previous celebrations in terms of memorability.
“We are ready with our people to make this year’s festival larger-than-life. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Woarabeba next month for an unforgettable experience.” he added.
The festival organizers, Nyce Media through its General Manager Bismark Odum Sackey indicated that the lineup of events for this year is carefully tailored to give a beautiful experience inspired by the everyday life of the people of Woarabeba.

“From October 21st to 27th, 2024, the plan is to offer an EthnoAquaDisco feeling. Ethno for people, Aqua for Water, and Disco for entertainment. So, we are giving a blend of these three elements in well created activities and programs.” he added.
