Twenty six wives of the late over lord of Dagbon Ya- Na Yakubu Andani who was gruesomely murdered in 2002 have added their pleas for justice for their late husband.
The third wife, Satin Yakubu told presidential press corps accompanying the president on his four day tour of Tamale government must not renege on its campaign promise to find the killers.
She said government must thoroughly look into the matter without fear or favour.
She believed the children of the late Ya-Na will seek redress in future if justice is not served.
She said the government was voted into power to find the killers and will be grossly disappointed if it fails to do so.
Asked by Joy FM's presidential correspondent, Seth Kwame Boateng to narrate how her husband was killed, Satin Yakubu said she was in a house but could not vividly say the circumstances under which her husband was killed nine years ago.
President John Mills at a durbar with Yendi chiefs reiterated his quest for justice and appealed for them to be calm whilst praying for the perpetrators to be found.
He however warned the killers can run but cannot hide till eternity.
The President as part of the tour of the region visited the E.P Senior High school in Soboba to inspect a school dormitory.
