A three-day national mourning for the late former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, will round to a close on Thursday.
President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, his officials and other global icons will converge at the Accra International Conference Center for Mr Annan’s burial service.
VVIPs, including the Inspector General of Police, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Chairman of the Council of State, the Chief of Staff, Chief Justice, Speaker of Parliament, former Presidents of Ghana, the Vice-President, and the visiting heads of state will file past Mr Annan's remains.
Presidents, Prime Ministers, and other dignitaries on Wednesday arrived in the country for the funeral of the late Secretary General of the United Nation, Kofi Annan.
Ethiopian president, Dr Mulato Teshome; Nigerien Prime Minister, Brigi Rafini; Namibian president, Hage Geingob; Angolan Vice-president and Bonito Desousa Baltaza Diogo are among leaders that have arrived.
Also, the representative of Qatar president, Thani Hamad Khalifa Hamad Al-Thani and the Sierra Leone president, Julius Maada Bio have touched down to pay their last respect to the celebrated Ghanaian diplomat.

The main activity for today will be a burial service at the Conference Centre after which the remains of one Mr Annan will be interred at the new Military Cemetery at La with full military honours.
Kofi Annan passed away on August 18, aged 80 in Bern, Switzerland.
The late Annan was reported to have fallen ill shortly after returning to Switzerland from South Africa and detained at a Geneva hospital and later sent to Bern, the Swiss capital, for further treatment but passed on Saturday, August 18, in the presence of his wife, Nane Maria, and their children Ama, Kojo and Nina.
