Organisers of the annual 3Music Awards have announced a new voting system to enable the general public vote for their favourite artistes.

Organisers in a press statement said: “The 2019 3Music Awards have added yet another dimension to the scheme, with a flexible voting process to accommodate growing public participation.”

Mobile Voting:

“Instead of the cumbersome multiple Mobile voting short-codes for Nominees, Fans/Users will be able to access any/all Categories with just a dial of one short-code; *713*2#,” the statement added.
According to the organisers, the configuration and voting options are diverse and allows fans and users to vote a hundred times at a go.

Social Media Voting:

Social media will play a significant part in the voting process by which winners are determined. This voting feature will contribute to a percentage of a Nominee’s total votes (including Mobile and Academy votes).

Fans now contribute to Voting through regular Facebook/Twitter/Instagram posts when they Hashtag #3MAs19; accompanied by a category short-code and their Artiste Name or Song e.g. #3MAs19GRBukBak or #3MAs19SOGonjaBarracks
