Tencent is a very large company with multiple divisions including Aurora Studio Group, LightSpeed Studios, and TiMi Studio Group.
At some point, it was the largest video game company, but it recently dropped to number 2 with a reported 25.5 billion USD revenue.
1. Sony Interactive Entertainment
Are you surprised that Sony is at number 1? This is one of the biggest names and most recognizable brands in the gaming industry. I mean, they make the PlayStation, does it really get bigger than that?
Of course, you know that Sony is a Japanese company, but Sony Interactive Entertainment, which is a subsidiary of the Sony Group and is responsible for producing the video games, is recognized as an American company, founded in 1993, with its headquarters in California.
It is the biggest video gaming company right now with a revenue of 29.8 billion USD.
