The road to Africa’s biggest DJ night is heating up with just 60 days remaining until the grand celebration of sound, style, and showmanship at the 13th Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, powered by Smirnoff.
The unforgettable night, running on the theme 'Shake the Floor' is set for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the prestigious Palms Convention Center, Accra.
Momentum has been building for months with the electrifying Pub Fest tour, already thrilling fans in Sunyani, Takoradi, Winneba, Tema and Nungua. Each city was lit up with music, excitement, and history-making moments, while serving a sneak preview of the fire and artistry that will light up the main stage in November.

It is worthy to mention that Takoradi held the forte for the maiden Ghana DJ Clinic for the 2025 calendar. This one-of-a-kind clinic brought together seasoned DJs, fresh talents, and industry heavyweights for mentorship, skills exchange, and conversations that are meant to shape the future of Ghana’s DJ culture.
Just about a week ago, nominations across the various categories were officially closed. The scheme received hundreds of nominations for about 4 dozens of award categories that were announced for the 2025 event, powered by Smirnoff.
Next on the radar is the final Pub Fest at P2 Lounge in Kumasi where a great line-up of performances from some of the finest DJs in the Ashanti Region is expected to turn the city upside down. The journey doesn’t stop there - on November 27, just two days before the big night, the final DJ Clinic will take place at the Accra Tourist Information Center, setting the perfect stage for the crescendo at Palms Convention Center.
As anticipation soars, organizers Merqury Republic have already confirmed top-tier performers including Highlife maestro Kwabena Kwabena and Dancehall legend Samini, both promising unforgettable sets. Fans can also expect powerhouse DJs like reigning DJ of the Year DJ Lord OTB, alongside DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly King, AD DJ, DJ Phantom, and many more who will command the turntables with their unmatched talent.
This year, organizers have also announced that the best-dressed attendee on the big night will be treated to an all-expenses paid stay at Aqua Safari, kind and proud courtesy of Wakanow. Meanwhile, tickets to the event can be accessed on Veetickets.com or using the USSD *714*888#.

For over a decade, the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has stood as the heartbeat of Ghana’s music culture, spotlighting the turntable magicians who define our parties, concerts, and nightlife. This year promises bigger surprises, thrilling performances, and a dazzling tribute to Ghana’s finest DJs, and for the first time, a special Reggae sound clash.
With 60 days to go, the countdown is officially in high gear, nominations have also been closed, and now, music lovers nationwide should brace themselves for November 29, when the Palms Convention Center will ignite with rhythm, lights, and history in the making.
The wait is almost over. Ghana’s biggest DJ event of the year is closer than ever.
