The MCE for Keta, Emmanuel Gemegah, reiterated the government's commitment to solving the acute water shortage situation in the Anyako area.
He commended the chiefs for collaborating with the government to have the project done and on time.

He noted that the commitment by the chiefs to make sure that the communities have water is very commendable and worthy of emulation.
Mr Gemegah urged residents to put partisan politics aside and help the government bring more developmental projects to them.
He noted that the communities can only progress through unity and purpose devoid of partisan politics and the hunger for development.

Mr Gemegah noted that the water project marks the beginning of better things to come to the communities.
He pledged to make sure that every community in the Keta municipality gets potable water before his tenure of office is over.
“I can assure you that before my tenure of office is over, I'll make sure that every community in the municipality gets potable water,“ Mr Emmanuel Gemegah said.

Madam Patricia Dovi Sampson who spoke on behalf of the sanitation and water resource minister noted that there are a lot of water projects ongoing in the country with more in the pipeline to start soon.

He commended the MCE Emmanuel Gemegah for his commitment to making sure that the people got the water project.
He noted that even though some residents may not be happy due to his choice of political party, there is the need to realise that when it comes to development, it does not matter which political party is involved.
He urged the residents to be united in order to move the communities forward.
Residents were happy about the project and hoped that more of such come to the community.
