Police in the South Africa's city of Cape Town are investigating the killing of seven people in a shooting incidence in Gugulethu area.
Police say gunmen entered a house in the area and shot randomly killing three women and four men.
Two other people were injured and are hospitalised with gunshot wounds.
Police are searching through the scene for clues on what may have transpired.
The area has in the past had killings involving rival business camps.
