Abesim, near Sunyani, was plunged into a state of grief and sorrow when an 85-year-old man was burnt to death in his room.
An eyewitness said that residents of the area detected a smoke emitting from the room of the deceased, Papa Yankuba and when they got there they could not put out the fire.
When GNA visited the scene, the charred body of the deceased was covered with roofing sheets.
