Nollywood actress and president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria Ibinabo Fiberesima has led a delegation of top Nollywood stars to commiserate with the family of late veteran Nollywood actor Justus Esiri.
The delegation included Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke-Linus, Chidi Mokeme, Monalisa Chinda, Segun Arinze, London Kio and Tony Akposheri Omiette.
They visited the wife of the late actor and her children at 14 Alhaji Azeez Street, Beesam, off Airport Road, Lagos to express their sympathies.
The Nollywood delegation also included the President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria Andy Amanechi, President of the Association of Movie Producers Zik Zulu, AGN secretary Abubakar Yakubu, AGN PRO Frank Dallas and AGN Chief Whip Mercy Salami.
Children of the late Justus Esiri, led by Sidney (Dr. Sid), Andrew and Otobore Esiri and other family members welcomed the celebrated thespians.
The delegation expressed their condolences to the family and assured them of their full support during the difficult time.
Esiri, the veteran actor and accomplished thespian who trained in Germany, died on February 19, 2013 at the age of 70 but burial plans are yet to be announced by the family members.
