Wish-me-well star Kuami Eugene is wishing patrons at the +233 Jazz Bar a happy new year with a live band performance on Joy FM's Drive Time Monday.
In a tribute to highlife greats, he started his show with a live rendition of songs by Ofori Amponsah, Amakye Dede, Daasebre Dwamena and Daddy Lumba.
But he found comfortable skin in hiplife genre doing songs by short-lived icon Ebony. He will be doing his entire maiden album at the popular spot in Accra to entertain patrons of the Superstation, Joy 99.7 FM.
That's a 13-song album Rock Star which features the hit song, Confusion, Angela and of course, Wish Me Well.
Kuami Eugene is also answering questions from show host Lexis Bill, one of which is the awkward answer to the question are you in love? His response: “I have feelings”, which drew a lot of laughter from the audience.
