A Human Rights lawyer, Mr Kwabla Senanu, has explained that his recent sleepiness and blurred speech in the Supreme Court were caused by a spiritual attack.
Sharing his testimony at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, led by Prophet T. B. Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria, Mr Senanu said he and his wife have been experiencing spiritual attacks for at least two years.
He said any time he came under the spell of attack, he could sleep at odd places under inexplicable circumstances.
Accompanied by his wife, Mrs Dora Senanu and his two daughters, the 55-year-old lawyer to the congregation to buttress his testimony showed a copy of the Daily Graphic in which a story about his courtroom experience was carried.
The Daily Graphic publication of March 15, 2013 carried a story and a picture in which Mr Senanu was captured sleeping in the Supreme Court when he had gone there to represent some Ghanaian voters who fell they might be disenfranchised in the election petition case.
Mr Senanu, who has been married for 15 years and has practised law for 27 years, said when he got married and began his legal practice, there was no spiritual, psychological or physical problem in his life.
"It all started when I took my wife to London to experience life abroad because of the importance Ghanaians attached to individuals (popularly called burgers) who had travelled abroad," he said.
"In London, while we were asleep, I often saw something like a hippopotamus raising our bed into the air. This strange phenomenon cascaded into a different dimension where I sleep at places at odd times," he added.
Giving some instances when those strange occurrences had befallen him, Mr Senanu said at one time while he was in court, his speech became blurred, his body became weak and he dozed off suddenly when he was supposed to be on his feet defending his client.
Mr Senanu said because of the strange experience of falling asleep suddenly at odd times, he had been involved in 80 road crashes.
The lawyer said, he had slept on many occasions at traffic light intersections, saying that any time he had had to stop at the intersection when the red was on, he had always fallen asleep before the green light signalled motorists to move.
He added that he was awoken by the tooting of horns by motorists behind him sometimes to his amazement and embarrassment.
Mr Senanu and his wife expressed deep appreciation to God for their deliverance and said after they had been prayed for by Prophet Joshua, they slept like babies.
He said the burden that had been taken off him by the spiritual deliverance was like a tsunami that had been dealt with.
